Who We Are
The Uganda Consortium on Corporate Accountability (UCCA) was established in 2015 as a civil society consortium aimed at enhancing accountability by Corporations, States, and Development Partners for violations of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
Our work is critical in a landscape of increasing investment, ensuring that growth does not come at the cost of human dignity and rights. We research, advocate, and build capacity to create a future where corporations act responsibly.

Conduct comprehensive research on corporate accountability and document violations of economic, social and cultural rights.
Advocacy & Policy
Advocate for policy reforms and implementation of laws that promote corporate accountability and protect human rights.
Capacity Building
Build capacity of civil society organizations, communities, and duty bearers on corporate accountability frameworks.
Community Engagement
Engage with affected communities to understand their challenges and amplify their voices in accountability processes.
Strategic Partnerships
Build and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders to enhance collective action for corporate accountability.
Legal Support
Support strategic litigation and provide legal assistance to communities affected by corporate violations.
Our Journey
Foundation
UCCA is established as a consortium of CSOs to focus on corporate accountability.
First Annual Conference
Hosted our inaugural conference on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights with over 100 participants.
Regional Expansion
We expand operations to cover all regions of Uganda with dedicated accountability platforms.
Policy Impact
UCCA contributes significantly to the development of Uganda's National Action Plan on Business & Human Rights.
10th Anniversary
Celebrating a decade of advocacy with 23 member organizations and 150+ activities conducted.
